Sponsors Rain Garden Giveaway

With all the talk of rain gardens lately, here is your chance to win one for your property.

The Friends of Yellow Creek and Bath Township are inviting residents of the Yellow Creek watershed to enter a contest to have a rain garden constructed. The watershed includes parts of Bath, Copley, Granger, Richfield and Sharon townships, the cities of Akron, Fairlawn and Cuyahoga Falls, and the Village of Richfield.

Visit www.yellowcreekwatershed.org to find out if your property is within the boundaries of the watershed. For information about rain gardens, visit www.summitswcd.org.

To enter, fill out a contest packet at the Bath Township Administration office, 3468 W. Bath Road or by calling 330-666-4007 to have one sent. Return the completed packet by May 1. Finalists will be contacted to arrange a site visit before construction.
